Apart from conducting basic treatment for dental problems, maxillo-facial surgeries like correction of congenitally fixed and fused jaws,gummy smile correction,tooth implants etc. are also performed in this department.

This department has in the recent past conducted workshops such as Forum for Advancement of Craniofacial Esthetics and also the Dento-facial Esthetic Centre which comprised the joint efforts of maxillo-facial, plastic, ENT surgeons along with an anaesthesiologist and a dermatologist.
